The Toyota Supra has finally made it to our shores and the media is lapping up the newest iteration of the Japanese motoring icon at Sungai Besi today. At the same time, we received a piece of information on Whatsapp that claimed that this could be the price of the Toyota Supra and the colors that would be coming in.
The Toyota Supra Mk 5 will hit be available for a select few Malaysian buyers for a speculated retail price from RM572,070, with company road tax of RM5995, with a misprint of private at the end. The only variant to make it to our shores will be the 3.0 inline 6 with the 8 speed automatic. There’s supposedly 8 color choice which are
- White Metallic
- Silver Metallic
- Ice Grey Metallic
- Black Metallic
- Deep Blue Metallic
- Lightning Yellow
- Matte Storm Grey Metallic
- Prominence Red
The last 3 colors come with different prices, with the Matte Storm Grey being the priciest at RM584,070. The cars come with a 5 year warranty. Earlier we speculated that the Supra could cost about the same as a grey market Porsche Cayman S 718. Right now though it costs more than the official import Cayman 718.
