Proton has unveiled 4 new special editions<\/strong> for its existing vehicle range. Here’s what you need to know about them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Black Edition Cars <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Persona and Exora<\/strong> receives the Black Edition makeover<\/strong>, which is designed to make the car stylish and luxurious<\/strong>. On the outside, there gold accents<\/strong> over a black only body color.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the inside the seats are trimmed in black leatherette and the gold accents<\/strong> continues. The Exora<\/strong> even gets an overhead monitor<\/strong> as standard. In fact the Exora looks like the affordable version of the Alphard Goldeneye Edition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The R3 versions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Iriz and the Saga<\/strong> receives the sporty R3 treatment<\/strong>. The cars receives the same exterior paint scheme<\/strong> as the R3 racing cars<\/strong>. The Iriz <\/strong>receives a 16 inch alloy<\/strong> upgrade while the Saga’s<\/strong> shod with 15 inch R3 rims<\/strong>, finished in matte grey<\/strong>. They also sport the numbers of the actual race cars <\/strong>from 2019 on the front door panels, which is a nice touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Inside the black and yellow theme<\/strong> continues with the seats, dash trims, and carpets<\/strong>. Sadly there are no performance upgrades<\/strong> asides from the rims though, its all aesthetic based only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All 4 special edition variants are sold in Limited numbers<\/strong>, and are priced as the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We applaud the effort put in by Proton to jazz up the existing models, offering the Malaysian market something unique that will surely appreciate in time to come<\/strong>. Look at how many people who rave about the Proton Knight and the C99 Wira after all these years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
