Enter the newest member of the Porsche family to bear the coveted GTS badge, which stands for \u201cGran Turismo Sport\u201d, promising outstanding driving dynamics. The Macan GTS comes with the specially tuned Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) damping control system as well as lowering the chassis by 15 millimetres for better driving dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the styling front, the Macan GTS comes with a standard Sport Design package with new front and rear trim and striking side skirts lends more edge. The front apron and front section are characterised by black painted elements \u2013 a distinguishing feature of all Porsche GTS models which carry on in the headlamps and taillamps which are darkened as well. The car also rides on 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels dressed in Satin Black and sporting red black calipers with a dark trim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the inside lurks a powerful 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine delivering 280 kW (380 HP) and 520 Nm of torque over a wide range of 1,750 to 5,000 rpm. This is paired with the newly adapted PDK dual-clutch transmission and the optional Sport Chrono package. The Sport Chrono package comes with a plethora of Motorsports inspired goodies such as Launch Control and Motorsports inspired gearing for the best acceleration possible alongside selectable driving modes. The car sports  Central Turbo Layout, with two turbochargers arranged in the inner V of the engine, allows quick response and a sporty exhaust note to match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The culmination of this allows the Porsche Macan GTS to accelerate from zero to 100 km\/h in 4.7 seconds, three tenths faster than before and continue to go up to a top speed of 261 km\/h. All this whilst consuming 9.6 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres according to NEDC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generous amounts of Alcantara\u00ae can be found on the seat centre panels, the centre console armrests and door panels as well as brushed aluminium provide a sporty yet elegant feel. The sports seats exclusive to the GTS come with eight-way adjustment and pronounced side bolsters for stable support during dynamic cornering. The GTS leather upholstery in Carmine Red or Crayon with additional Alcantara\u00ae features and colour accents, the BOSE\u00ae Surround Sound system and the new smartphone tray with inductive charging functions and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
